The hubris of starting a personal blog in English

So I wanted to write. I wanted a place to organize myself. Now I have it, and I am happy. But, of course, some other part of me raised some questions:

• Shouldn’t I have more fleshed out plans for this blog, before starting it?
• Will it be interesting for anyone to read?
• Won’t I be embarrassed later about what I write now?
• Shouldn’t I write in my native Dutch, rather than English?
• Will I have the stamina to post something regularly?

The nice thing is that I don’t owe anyone any answers. Not even myself – time will tell.

My ambition is to write about weekly about what life is like for an aspiring software engineer, but also about personal topics.
